Review of Loggerheads (1978) by Ricardo H — 25 Dec 2007
Yes, it's a moving story, yes it shows how some families will turn away the ones they supposedly love the most because they turn out to be gay, yes, it's a difficult life for a young gay man. All of that is true, but unfortunately, not very well shown in this movie. Kip Pardue and Bonnie Hunt do a great job acting their parts, but everybody else is extremely stiff and not very good (with the exception of the motel owner, who plays the part well even if it's very one-dimensional).
Okay movie but nothing memorable.
