Review of Live! (2007) by Ewoudt C — 24 Apr 2010

Could a TV show that works on the basis of a simple game of Russian Roulette work? 'Live'! has an extremely strong premise that keeps you watching till the end, because it just too tempting to see how things will turn out.

Let's face it, Mendez isn't known for her dramatic masterpieces, but this was quite good for Mendez standards. The ensemble cast isn't half bad as well, with Krumholtz, Hernandez and Lively standing out as quite rounded characters.

While this movie doesn't ever ascend pass it's B-grade roots, it stays weirdly engaging till the last bullet is fired. Worth a look if you're into weird and original movies.
