Blanchett gives a superb performance as Hart, Weaving is at his career best as Lionel who is totally addicted. Hazelhurst returns to her acting roots in fine form, while the supporting cast including, Martin Henderson, Nguyen, Sam Neill, Tobeck, Porter and McCune.
This is a fine Australian film, a bit to much uninventive swearing in the script, but a fine production. Including fantastic photography and music is exquisite.
