Review of Light Sleeper (1992) by Aaron G — 18 Jan 2008
Set mostly at night and laced with a menacing soundtrack, "Light Sleeper" is a masterful mood piece from director Paul Schrader. Willem Dafoe is perfectly cast as a drug dealer and recovering junkie trying to will himself toward the straight life as old temptations return to haunt him.
Recommended.
