Review of Life After Beth (2014) by Thomas W — 16 Aug 2014
This is a great example of how a movie with different types of genres should be done. Not only was it funny, but it also had its heartfelt moments. Also, the acting was great from all the cast but mainly from Dane DeHaan, who mixed dramatic and comedic elements very naturally, and the always excellent Aubrey Plaza who was so damn funny and probably was one of the funniest zombies on a movie. Overall the whole movie got better as the story progressed, and although in the beginning I wasn't sure it was going to be good, in the end it showed how in depth the story really was because it wasn't only comedy but there was a real message and metaphor behind all the humor.
