Somewhere, in the train wreck that is "Laurence Anyways", lies a good movie. If it wasn't for its 2h40 lenght, its overused 80's/90's pumping soundtrack and its overabundance of slow-mo shots, Xavier Dolan's latest film could have been the proof that, in Quebec, we can create great pieces of art.
