Lan Kwai Fong, not to be mistaken with the Catergory III movie with the same name Lan Kwai Fong Swingers back in the 90's. This new movie centres around the happening lifestyle of young adults at the famous night life centre of Hong Kong, Lan Kwai Fong.

This movie's target audience is really niche, which basically targets the hip and happening youngsters who enjoys their shallow lifestyle. The story is basically simple, as it basically resolve around booze, love... maybe, and sex, and more sex.

Although the movie may seems quite hollow and empty, it manage to potray the edgy view of Hong Kong youth. I love the direction and cinematography of this movie, however I think it tries too hard to copy the western erotic style of art direction.

If you enjoy partying and clubbing, this movie is definately a dream come true, and even eye-candy. So yes, aside from the exciting night life, the storyline really doesn't tell more. Perhaps the most intersting part of the movie is after 365 days, which reminds us all "never pretend that it's all real, someday this will all be someone elses dream".
