Review of Lake of Fire (2006) by Atlas O — 03 Apr 2008
One of the most disturbing films I've ever seen - but also I would argue it's essential viewing. Presenting both sides of the abortion argument with equal measure, the film accomplishes a major feat of not only documentary filmmaking but of journalism at large.
The only gripe I have is that it's over-long and begins to drag in the second half, but the photography and subject matter make it tolerable.
