The film does wonderful new things with the faux-documentary/found footage trope done to death since The Blair Witch Project. Even the poor image quality of amateur camera work is applied to good effect.
Little reliance on shock, but a ghost story that will haunt you throughout the closing credits (especially if you watch those right to the end).
