Review of La Bête Humaine (1938) by Ben W — 12 Jun 2007
I was not convinced about renoir until I saw this film and soon after, the river. this is a really interesting movie that doesnt fit entirely in with noir. it has the femme fatale, the guy whos got it all figured out but has some other problems of his own.
from the classic zola book. translated to "the human beast," this ones worth watching.
