Review of Kurt Cobain: About a Son (2007) by Kirsten J — 28 Feb 2008
Awesome splattering of what it was like to be Kurt Cobain narrated by, Kurt himself.
I personally thought it was an excellently edited and produced peice of work that makes Last Day's seem like an awfully contrived, jaundiced eye type of boy porn (poor Gus Van Sant).
This movie is awesome tho. I really appreciated the footage of things like Aberdeen Library and the Wishkah River. The cinematography really creates an imagery that couldn't be achieved with Kurt's voice alone.
