A fabulous and insightful look into the Bob Dylan of Gen-X, this film is more a 90 minute music video than a film. It includes no Nirvana music, no video of Nirvana, and saves pictures of the man himself for the very end of the film.

Instead it provides idyllic images and video of Aberdeen, Olympia, and Seattle, WA, where Kurt grew up and discovered himself and his art. But the focus here is not on the video. It's on the expert and insightful interview, and the fact that the narrative is constructed entirely by Cobain himself.

He doesn't speak often, but when he does, the whole world listens.
