Review of Kontroll (2003) by Jeannie B — 17 Dec 2006
This film is perfect. Antal paints an unreal and ultra real existance in the subway system. If the underground Metro system is a massive labrinth then the lives of those who work in, and travel on that system are 100's of times more winding.
Good and evil? I come down on the not so popular third position; 'is'. Life is a massive labyrinth and Antal is a master portraying the depths of humanity sprinkled with the spice of mundane that keeps the entree palettable.
