Nice to see Ann-Margaret branch out but I still find her shrill and grating, even when she's not singing or doing her bizarre herky jerky style of dance. This is a dopey little potboiler that was probably popular as a drive-in movie.
Good performances all around but none of the characters are all that likable so it's hard to care what happens to any of them - even the supposed good guys.
