Ah, memories. I first watched this in a Parisian concierge's apartment living room while rummaging through two sacks of garbage for a presentation torn up by my boss's colleague. It was seven years before I got this in English.
Even before I understood the dialogue, this movie has a way of transporting one to the enchanting realm of folklore Africa.
