Review of Juno (2007) by Ricky T — 08 Oct 2013
This is a really great movie. It's a very realistic take on teen pregnancy and one of the first movies to really look at the adoption option. Ellen Page does an amazing job with her character who is funny and sarcastic but we do get to see handling the difficult emotions of what is happening to her body and her life.
Jennifer Garner is absolutely fantastic in her role. While it's easy to look at her as a control freak and not a likeable character in the beginning, I can promise you'll fall in love by the end.
Michael Cera is also very funny and heart warming in his role. J.K. Simmons and Allison Janney were also fabulous. The only issue is that I didn't enjoy Jason Bateman's performance at all, mostly due to not liking the character.
All in all it's a great movie for anyone to see and it's something that teens should see for sure.
