Review of Ju-on: The Grudge (2002) by Alastair H — 18 Jan 2014
Japanese horror is perhaps the most creepy and effective in the world and this film excels at creating a creepy and disturbing atmosphere in a house with vengeful spirits killing anyone who dares enter it.
Wonderful for use of sound and music and good performances from the cast (esp the spirits). I think the american adaptation has the edge in terms of visuals and production values but this one has a better story and atmosphere by far! (17.
1.14).
