Review of Jersey Shore Shark Attack (2012) by Carabo P — 21 Sep 2012
Low budget schlock in which the waters off of the titular Jersey Shore are menaced by super aggressive albino bull sharks attracted by illegal drilling. The only ones aware of the threat are the moronic Guidos and Guidettes that call the beach home.
Idiotic, badly plotted and featuring the some worst CGI sharks in bad shark movie history, this movie the very definition of cheap cash in ... and worst still, I liked it. There is something oddly likable about our heroes' lunk-headed sincerity in trying to protect the beach, from trying to chum for sharks with protein power bars and shooting fireworks at them.
Yes, it is stupid, but also funny. Often intentionally. I cannot believe I just wrote that last sentence.
