This was the second Resnais film I saw after Marienbad. I saw it at MoMA at the Gramercy Theater in 2001/2 in a completely packed house, which makes me wonder why it isn't more well known or shown more often.
I recall being amazed, but I haven't seen it since. I wouldn't be surprised if Julio Medem had seen it.
