Review of Jail Bait (1954) by Jordi T — 27 Feb 2012
I'm usually charmed by the eccentricities of Ed Wood's movies, but Jail Bait contains all the clunky aspects of Plan 9 From Outer Space without any of its endearing quirks. Focusing on a crook who gets plastic surgery to mask his identity, this revenge film is a tepid, cookie-cutter retread of the kind of plots one sees in tired police procedurals.
B-Movie fans would be better off sticking to films where Wood exhibits more of his oddball personality.
