Review of Iron Sky (2012) by Michael V — 15 Jul 2012

I watched Iron Sky this last Friday night. I really enjoyed it! As an independent film, and one with fan-based suggestions for story and plot lines, I thought it hung together very well. Iron Sky is not intended to be a movie garnering critical acclaim.

It is fun, though it has a bite at the end that is unexpectedly telling. The caricaturization of Sarah Palin as President is priceless, and I say that as one of her fans - but detractors will enjoy the parody on her character as well.

I have been waiting for this movie to be released in US theatres for a long time, and I am still waiting - I was able to see it by other means. It is a great popcorn cruncher, and well worth seeing. When it does come out in theatres I will see it again.
