This is a really fun, campy movie. I think you have to take it for what it is, a satirical poke a militarism, prejudice, power, and greed. I was most impressed with the thoughtfulness and character of the movie.
Was I looking for Dr. Zhivago or Saving Private Ryan? Heck no. No, considering the budget, youthfulness of the team, and campy idea, I found this a fun, engaging movie. Enough that I contributed to their next venture.
