It's not hard to figure out what movie this is 'inspired' by, but with minimal action, boring characters, and slow scenes of nothing, you'd be better off with Emmerich. It's the typical Syfy channel shlock, which drags on making the runtime feel twice as long.
Daysaster is forgettable and skipable. .
