Emptiness when you try to numb the emotions with drugs. This movie reminds me a lot like Requiem for a Dream but with 4 older males that just seem to be lifeless as they get older but try to re-live again with drugs.
The movie has deep meaning telling how broken people are, it seems to follow them as they grow older because they're not willing to work on it as time goes on. Its a dark movie while being on a roller coaster ride.
