Review of I Love You Phillip Morris (2010) by Mario H — 14 Aug 2011

This is a five-star movie, as good as movies get, and it's a true story to boot. It's reminiscent of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, another true story about a con artist, and it's just as good.

However, there is one caveat: If you have even the slightest twinge of homophobia, it'll be very difficult to watch. The main character is "gay, gay, gay, gay, gay." And while it's not pornographic, it's still pretty graphic. I suspect this explains the rather mixed reviews.

BTW, nothing to do with tobacco at all. If it had been up to me, I woulda changed that name just to avoid confusion.
