Review of Humoresque (1947) by Jen H — 23 Jan 2007
Not a bad film, but I don't feel like I can call it a good film, either. Joan Crawford in her usual form of melodrama (though slightly more psychotic) and John Garfield was fascinating as usual. The music was fantastic.
But I just couldn't take Joan bawling the whole second half of the film and there were also a few plot points I found unclear. Definitely an interesting film.
