Mandy Moore is brilliant in this movie as she learns how to deal with a awful lot, including teen pregnancy, a wedding, a car accident and a weed smoking granny all into one single year of her character Halleys life, who after her parents divorce and her dad gettting re-married decides that she will not fall in love .
