Don't understand why this is getting mediocre to bad reviews. It was charmingly funny. The kids were great. And it's not slapstick stupid like you think it might be. Supporting roles by Raquel Welsh, Rob Lowe, Kristen Bell, Linda Lavin and Renee Taylor were fabulous! if you want to laugh, give it a shot and see the movie.
