Review of House of the Dead (2003) by Moviesforever — 31 Mar 2014
"House of the Dead" is absolutely bad, it is a campy, goofy little horror film that is just so bad it is fun. The acting is truly awful, the screenplay does not exist and is not conventional, it is awful.
The cinematography makes the action sequences a bit conventional, intense. The whole film is crap if you are going to take it seriously, if you try and have stupid fun with it, it might turn out as not as bad as it is.
But overall, it is not really fully recommended, but if you are feeling like a cheesy horror zombie film, with stupid characters, screenplay and direction. This is the one. The only reason I watched this film is because I felt like watching something bad after the 2014 Academy Awards, and I wanted to see if Uwe Boll lives to the awfulness I heard about him, he is just trying to make cheesy films, with cliches all over the place that turn out, despite outdated, funny and entertaining.
