Review of House of Sand and Fog (2003) by Matthew W — 18 Jan 2008
This is one of the best adaptations of a book,in terms of accuracy in plot and the casting of Sir Ben Kingsley. An excellent story of 2 lives colliding in the persuit of their goals and the fallout that ensues.
There is no villian and one can sympathize with both on their collision course. A film that is refreshingly non Hollywood and a true work of art.
