Review of Hot Dog... The Movie (1984) by Gary K — 20 Jul 2009
Too bad David Naughton followed "An American Werewolf in London" with this stinker. Apart from a pre-plastic surgery Shannon Tweed and a soundtrack that features Duran Duran's "Rio," there's not much to like about this movie.
The plot is thin, even by '80s sex comedy standards (if such things exist). It takes elements of "Meatballs" and "Porky's" and sets them in a ski competition. 1991's "Ski School" uses the same formula with better results.
