Even if it was a bit cloying and moderately cheesy, leaving a juvenile taste in one;s mouth. I can appreciate the sentiments and its attempts to depict a unique take on terminal illness and how remission could affect the susceptible mind of our average teenager trying to find herself once learning she isn't about to die after all. Just ignore some of the rather far-fetched elements to the plot. I wasn't buying into them either.
