Two songs are superlative but otherwise movie is bad and pretentious. A few good moments. Boman Irani is one of them - he rarely if at all disappoints. The script attempts something different but loses its way in many places.

Some threads go nowhere. The tango song Pyar Ki Ik Kahani is one element of this song that aims to be different from typical Bollywood and succeeds resoundingly. It is composed, sung and danced on with panache.

World class. The Vari Vari song exudes an infectious energy. In both Javed Akhtar reiterates his position as a true songwriter of class. Cant fault any of the actors or director. Screenplay was conceived out of inspiration but looks like completed without it.

Its worth a watch but dont kill yourself getting to it. If you do get around to seeing it, the two songs and a few stray moments will make it worth it.
