Review of Home for the Holidays (1974) by The Movie W — 11 Dec 2011
Not a bad little made for TV horror movie by executive producer Aaron Spelling. In the 70s Spelling was a television master & actually produced product that was worth watching. Now TV just sucks my balls unless you find something off of the major networks.
Home For The Holidays is actually a strange little slice of holiday horror that should have embraced its yuletide season a bit more. Other then some Xmas decorations this could have happened @ any holiday or not even on a holiday because the plot doesn't demand it.
This must have taken place in California because there is absolutely no snow but instead a thunder storm rages mercilessly. The killer even dawns a rain slicker. I would have much preferred this under a blanket of white but that's just me nick-picking.
Featuring Sally Field a few years after her Gidget days I wish she did more horror movies. She would have made quite the cute little scream queen.
