Review of Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988) by Judy T — 01 Jun 2006
You'd figure if you liked Z-grade flix and had a title like 'Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers' you couldn't go wrong. Unfortunatly, even though in the opening credits it said this script was greatly improved upon (was the original scribbled on a cocktail napkin?) it still needed some help plus Fred Olen Ray couldn't direct traffic.
. saddly Gunnar Hansen can't act his way out of a dead skin mask but there is enough humour, nudity and violence (including Linnea Quigley's virgin dance of the double chainsaws) in all this to make a passable hour or so.
