Review of Henry Fool (1998) by Derek B — 22 Mar 2011
Dark but touching story in which one of life's losers helps along another man with no chance of making it in the world, to make it in the world, but is then betrayed when he wants a favour in return.
.. only to eventually receive a far greater favour. Quite talky, sometimes a bit too slow, and maybe it would benefit from some trimming, but the performances are excellent, Parker Posey in particular.
I think I shall need to watch this again.
