Review of Heavy Metal Parking Lot (1986) by Angela M — 17 Jul 2008

I think that given this movie's cult status, I was expecting something way more awesome. Alas, its not. The whole thing is only 15 minutes long, but I honestly don't think I could have handled much more of these mulleted people drinking beer and yelling "f*** punk" and "yeah! dokken!!".

Overall a pretty pointless and useless "documentary". I would have expected more context, or for the directors to build on this a bit more. It almost seems like they barely tried, and their mild fame for this film was completely accidental.
