Review of Heavy Metal in Baghdad (2007) by Caitlin M — 09 Aug 2008

I must admit that I was really taken with this particular documentary. I'm a big fan of documenting every day people and that is exactly what this one is about. Not only is about every day people who consist of the only heavy metal band in Baghdad but of the scene in the surrounding areas and the war itself.

Granted we all know about the massive destruction that has taken place over there but it was nice to see cited facts in a way that focuses on how it affects the local people, not America's report.

It's basically average but if you like heavy metal and want to learn about the war then this one is all for you man.
