Sad true story of the Scotsbough trial. In post slavery southern usa. White girl lies about being raped by a gang of black youths and gains the sympathy of her community. Even though her allegations are shown untrue, the boys are repeatedly convicted as guilty, most die in prison while the surviving member gets pardoned after many long years,.
