Review of Heavenly Sword (2014) by Jerome K — 15 Sep 2014

I'm a little confused as to why this film adaptation was made. Besides the video game having long since been out of the public eye (it came out in 2007), the story is almost exactly the same besides the addition of throwaway character Loki.

Considering it's 2014, I expected the cgi to be much better that what was presented. In fact, you can find on youtube all the cinematics of the video game stitched together to make a full movie, and you can see the story and voice acting is superior there and even the cgi is still impressive, too.

If you want to watch the story of the Heavenly Sword, play the video game (which has a short runtime) instead of watching this movie.
