Review of Heading South (2006) by Fredg. — 21 Jul 2006
This won't be a full review, because I left the film early. This movie should be seen by anyone who's looking to see how sad middle aged women treat themselves and poor young men. Ironically, this story could be set in the US and in modern times.
Many men and women marry for money, and sex comes along with that commitment. Although not married, these women supply money and clothes in exchange for sex and companionship. This is movie is disappointing on many fronts and was not entertaining or interesting enough for me to sit through.
It felt like a documentary crossed with a sleazy sex story. Neither worked. Save your time and money.
