Review of He Loves Me… He Loves Me Not (2002) by David V — 11 Nov 2007

As you can probably tell Audrey Tautou is a particular favourite of mine... Anyhoo, without giving too much away, this film is about a psychiatric condition called Erotomania. No, I had never heard of it either and don't look it up if you are going to watch the film - it could spoil it.

Now, whilst I have never suffered from this particular condition, some of the symptoms are not, shall we say, unfamiliar to me. The scenes that portray the despair and loneliness that can accompany psychiatric illness are so realistic that, whilst I always enjoy the film, it can be mentally exhausting.
