Review of He Got Game (1998) by Ashraf I — 28 Sep 2007
Not your typical basketball movie. This was a drama about the most badass name ever, Jesus Shuttlesworth (Starring best shooter ever, Ray Allen), and his father, Jake, who has been awarded parole after killing his wife years ago.
(The Great Denzel) A tale of ambition, forgiveness, religion, symbolism, and the corruptions behind our everyday society (college girls offering pussy to get a star athlete enrolled) A very realistic and deep approach, with not really any high-flying dunks or crazy buzzerbeaters that every other formulaic sports movies have.
Celtics = 2008 Champs Chyeah.
