This movie banks on the star power of Lara Flynn Boyle... and that's sad. That's really really sad. This was a grown up version of the horror movie you shot in your basement with your friends when you were 10 years old.
That said, the director deserves props for letting his reach exceed his grasp, and I mean that with sincerity. The actors too, deserve praise. They did the best they could with what they were given. Molly Quinn is pretty cute too.
Really it is the writer's fault for creating flat characters. But he tried. Lord, how he tried. Ya know what- fuck it. I'm giving this thing a four.
