Review of Hannah Gadsby: Nanette (2018) by Jinho C — 04 Sep 2018
There's a fair amount of very funny material, and some deeply moving moments, but Gadsby in the end comes across as bigoted as the "straight white men" that she rails against. In her telling, ALL "straight white men" are misogynist, racist, and homophobic.
There are a couple of moments where she mildly, lamely, insinuates that she doesn't really mean ALL of them, but then slides into another all-inclusive rant.
