Review of Halloween II (2009) by Eytan D — 31 Mar 2013
It's the 80's. What did you guys expect? Sure, "Halloween II" is gorier than its predecessor. However, John Carpenter and Debra Hill still have a say in where the story goes, and the movie still works thanks to some great kills, actually likeable victims, the welcome returns of Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence, a good script with believable dialogue, still intense music, and a twist that made my jaw drop.
