They say that 80s Godard sucks, but here's one to prove otherwise. His contemporary take on the Nativity is at once reverent and provocative, raising brave questions about Mary's sexuality and imbuing a sense of humor into the modern setting (the best part of which is the angel Gabriel telling Joseph to stop being an asshole).
