A terrific war film, maybe the best since Saving Private Ryan. This film is a thorough look at a strong, true historical person with convictions to serve but without bloodshed. The film is masterfully-directed, with an engaging narrative and award-worthy performances throughout.
The visuals are also fantastic, with beautiful cinematography! It is a must-watch for lovers of history and war-films, as it is sure to inspire.
