Review of Grave Encounters 2 (2012) by Linda D — 05 Oct 2012
While the scary (i.e. SFX) portions of the film, for the most part, are worth the ride, the pacing is poor, the characters fairly tepid, par-for-the-genre Blair Witch-style acting and dialogue as well as a blatant lift of the infamous snot-drenched "Message to Mom and Dad" scene, a direct rip of possibly the best scene in [REC], the night-vision camera with a woman being dragged feet-first away from the lens.
But again, the SFX made it worth the rest of the hackneyed craptitude.
