Review of Grand Hotel (1932) by Jack W — 25 Dec 2008
Superb acting by the Barrymores but what sets this film apart is Crawford and Garbo. I had never seen Garbo before and her face is just mesmerizing. the scenes where her and Barrymore are in her room and the camera focuses on her face are utterly captivating to watch.
